The Musée National d’Histoire et d’Art is a museum in Luxembourg. A group of stylish villas and a large modern building together form the Musée National d’Histoire et d’Art. The historical part of the museum is dedicated to the history of Luxembourg from prehistory to the Middle Ages. Numerous Gallo-Roman archaeological finds can be seen: coins, mosaics, sculptures, jewelry and household goods. In addition, paintings from the Middle Ages to the present and works by artists from all over Europe can be seen, including watercolors of the city by the landscape painter William Turner .
