Maxbruecke

The Maxbrücke is an arch bridge over the Pegnitz in the old town of Nuremberg. The three-bay sandstone cuboid bridge has cast iron traction panels and is the oldest stone bridge in the city. It connects the Unschlittplatz in Lorenz’s old town south of the Pegnitz with the Nägeleinsplatz in the north of Sebald’s old town. The building is located between the flea market island in the east and the chain bridge in the west.
