Boniface monument

A bronze sculpture of St. Boniface is located directly opposite the Fulda City Palace. It was created by Werner Henschel between 1830 and 1840 and erected in 1842. It shows Boniface in a long robe and with the cross raised. In the left hand he holds an open Bible. The inscription on the base reads: Verbum domini manet in aeternum - The word of the Lord remains forever.
