Hohe Strasse is a 680 meter long shopping street in Cologne’s city center in the Altstadt-Nord district. It runs as a pedestrian zone in a north-south direction between Wallrafplatz and Hohe Pforte street with access to Schildergasse. The street name is pronounced with emphasis on "high" and is not bowed against the language habits. In 2019, Hohe Strasse was the 5th most popular shopping street in Germany.
